Top Shelf Lacquer

I made a few purchases from a new-to-me brand right around Thanksgiving – Top Shelf Lacquer. The polish that caught my eye is Cinnamon Blueberry Old Fashioned from the Polish from a Picture Series. I knew it was mine it as soon as I saw it.

Top Shelf Lacquer describes it as a “blackened teal base that shifts from deep green to teal to fuchsia with a scattered holo”.  My family always tells me I can’t possibly need any more polish because there can’t be a color I don’t already own…WRONG! There is nothing like this in my collection. I tried to have as many angles as possible to show the shifty-ness.

Of course, this with my usual Orly bonder basecoat and Seche Vite topcoat combo. Formula was great – three coats with no pooling at the cuticles or any issues at all.

Love it, love it, love it. On top of creating such a beautiful polish, Top Shelf Lacquer has customer service that’s out of this world. I’ve never received an email after placing an order that thanked me for placing my first order and asked for any feedback I might have. I was honestly blown away.

I placed another order a couple of days later during their Thanksgiving sale…

Top Shelf Lacquer - Freak Shot

Freak Shot is a tiffany blue-green / teal linear holo.

I originally thought of stamping snowflakes over this one but couldn’t bring myself to cover this beauty up. Same base/topcoat combo as usual, three coats, same great formula as the first.

Top Shelf Lacquer is definitely on the list of companies I’ll visit often. There are so many amazing colors it’s hard to choose a favorite. If you have any favorites from them please let me know so I can check them out!

You can buy Cinnamon Blueberry Old Fashioned for $12 (15ml full size) or $8.50 (8ml polish shot) and Freak Shot for $11 (15ml full size).

Thanks for coming by!
